This project was launched on a "wing and a prayer", with no funds.  Can you help sustain it?  Over 400 people from 32 countries took the survey--and 95% want more singing and chanting in their community life. You can help them realize their hopes. How to donate

Option one:  Registered Baha'is may send checks to the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Oak Bay, PO Box 5374, Stn. B, Victoria, Canada, V8R 6S4.  Earmark your contribution for "Baha'i Chant Project", and include your Baha'i ID number if possible.  A tax receipt will be mailed to the address on the check, or to the address you provide.  

Option two:

Anyone may contribute using the button below, whether they are a registered Baha'i or not. {Please note that no tax receipts can be issued when you choose this option.}

The Baha'i Chant project is a grassroots community development project, an individual initiative being carried out in collaboration with the Local Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Oak Bay, BC, Canada. 

Since it began on August 1, 2011, over 344 hours of professional services have been donated for web design and maintenance;  survey design and analysis; research and presentations. Web site hosting, e-news services, conference fees and printing costs have also been donated.

As of October 25, 2011,  start-up costs have been $1,050.

There will be a need for ongoing financial support. Based on the survey results, the project plans to develop CDs,  instruction booklets, and other materials that will help communities "chant supplications together". We will continue to post updates here about the financial status of the project, with the objective of being accountable and transparent.
